getting grungy...on Tuesday!

so today I played along with the Grungy Monday Challenge (GM#01) over at Studio L3.  This week the challenge is inspired by the 12 Tags of Christmas, 2008, Tag 10 by Tim Holtz.  I had fun getting uber inky and making use of some of the fab idea-ology stash I have.  (and played with some art parts too!).  Here is my tag:

off to get some other stuff done!  catch ya later!

supplies: Distress Ink - Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Stormy Sky, Walnut Stain, Rusty Hinge; Distress Stains - Vintage Photo, Wild Honey; Perfect Pearls Mist - Turquoise, Perfect Copper; Adirondack color wash - Denim; Sepia Accents from Inkssentials; Art Parts - Dress Form, and watch piece (no idea the official name); Plaid background stamp - Studio490 by Wendy Vecchi; Grunge (Elements, Stripes: idea-ology)) - Wing and Crown; Perfect Pearls - Perfect Bronze and Green Patina; Masks - timeworks from idea-ology; trimmings from idea-ology; Fired Brick re-inker; Sentiment - Tim Holtz for Stampers Anonymous; "Photo" - Tim Holtz Paper Stash; Bottle cap and tag from my stash; Black Embossing Powder - Ranger; Adirondack Paint Dabber - Juniper; Ranger Archival ink - Black and Coffee

  10. WOW! What a fun tag. I love the key under the dress form, it's an automat. Gives this tag a steampunk edge that I like very much.

  12. Lesley, this is fabulous!!! There's so much gorgeousness going on, I'm not sure where to start, actually, but I do have to say BRAVO on that stunning, multi-hued masking you did! The Art Parts are a fabulous fit for this technique, and the face in the bottlecap is brilliant. I love your tag, and I'm so glad you joined Grungy Monday #1!
